I'm more bothered by the word 'literally' being used in non-literal phrases. I once saw a local politician on tv talking about some debate gonig on in the capital building and he said "the room was literally turned upside down"... that was the first time I was ever bothered by this =0

I agree with your first statement... A lot of times when Olbermann clips are played here on M&C I feel like a lot of the comments that people post here praise him more than he deserves. When I see his show it makes me think of people like my grandfather who are die-hard republicans. When he sees people with viewpoints like Olbermann's, my grandfather probably feels like all of his own radical right-winged beliefs are justified.

I"ve seen this sort of gag a few times before, but I enjoyed this one and not the others. To me the video wasn't poking fun at a race, but a genre of music. They're just highlighting the cliche's in a humorous manner, and just because the participants involved are black shouldn't make them immune from parody.
You could easily do this with a country song and white people... though I dont know how many of those end the same way this one did ; )
