By the way, I had a long running conversation with the author of these videos. He can't answer for any of his mistakes, lacks expertise, and makes several wildly oversimplified generalizations. Oh, and his grasp of metaphysics is non-existent.

Yay for average Americans attempting to converse meaningfully with scientists. One side's data is deficient, the other's rationality is deficient. Its a net waste of time. Leave scientific policy debate to those who've suffered though years of school to understand it.

Sigh. Yes, the interviewer is a dolt. Yes, the guy doesn't say much except he doesn't believe the science.
Here's a tidbit for you. ANY scientist who's not being bought (fewer than you'd think) knows that this is cyclical. I work with a solid state physicist/theoretical particle physicist/climatologist. Best way to make him laugh? Just say global warming.
No doubt if we were experiencing global cooling, Al Gore or some equally undereducated individual would find something equally inane to blame. Maybe we're using up to much O2 (oxygen) with all of our wasteful, selfish breathing? I'm not exaggerating; this whole thing has the scientific community LOLing all over themselves.

Meh, I'm sure a majority of the public will cling to global warming as long as they can, because the TV told them it exists and is "bad thing." I don't care for FOX News at all, but at least someone may have finally found a way to make the world stop this ridiculous blind belief in the word of a man with zero credentials in the field. Maybe we'll finally see a few people realize that the scientific support for global warming is non-existent, and most of what used to "exist" was discovered to be a series of data entry/collection errors over a decade ago. Not going to hold my breath though, as people seem to be really stuck on this "issue."

While this video makes any rational person laugh, consider the alternatives. Also laughable. And as to perspective, if you claim the need for another, you must claim the need for yourself as well, or invalidate your opinions. Perspective must begin in neutrality and logic. Leftism is a much on offense to the rational minds as is this unthinking "creationism." (i.e. the leftist tendency to consider all creationists Christians, and all Christians creationists). These words have the meaning you allow them to have, but forcing a word to fit a person does not make the idea apply as well. :)

Never been able to understand why so many people are willing to give so much credence to the opinions of this man. He is not exceptionally intelligent, lacks credentials in every subject he has chosen to discuss thus far, and regardless of the subject he claims in a given week, his message never changes, never grows. Someone explain please?

Could you at least pretend to have an open mind in the description? Just because the creationists who make a lot of noise are fools who fear their world-view is threatened by other alternatives does not mean this is true of all creationist thinkers. While I may not agree with them frequently, I have met some brilliant creationist scientists. Do not denigrate an idea for which you have no more probable alternative. Consider them all, and wait for some proof to come along that will let you make an informed decision. You will probably die undecided, but at least you will die without such petty, unfounded convictions as to what the truth is.
The truth of this matter is unknowable at this time, and any claims to the contrary must be motivated our of prejudice, bitterness, ignorance, or all three. Open you minds to what might be, not what you want there to be.

Re: The Origin of Life Made Easy
On a side note, I have not "personally" done the research. No, of course not. However, I have put forth the effort required to become very knowledgeable in relevant fields, and this effort has allowed me to note flaws that others would not be able to catch. My point here is to undeceive, not to deconstruct, make a statement of belief, or in any other way alter an individual's mindset one way or another. I simply wish people to think, not obey blindly.
