I like how a commercial about saving animals is morphing in to a debate about pure v mixed breed dogs.
I don't like to see animals suffer but when I first saw this commercial on tv I rolled my eyes. That being said, tv brings out my cynical side and commercials produced to tug at my heart strings typically have the opposite affect.

I'm sorry but this video is total bullshit. First of all, the introductory scene features a man in favor of secession at a conference in Tennessee. Palin is not there. She isn't endorsing Secessionism. Just because some random guy drops her name doesn't mean they share the same views.
Second, the AIP wanted to have it's members put Secession to a vote. That doesn't equate to the entire party wanting to be outside of the United States. That's how most Independent party orders function. (yes, it's ironic)
And so what if she did attend AIP conferences? She obviously doesn't share the same views now. Politicians aren't entitled to change their views? Evolve?
I personally think Palin is not fit for VP, but some of this slander is ridiculous. Stop with the idiotic attempts to smudge her name. She can do that just fine on her own terms.

First there needs to be a general consensus on when life actually does begin. What does science support? That life begins at fertilization? At the first beat of the heart? When it becomes an embryo?
