Hah, ok, so you're saying that Dawkins is ruining your fun by pointing out the fact that magical things don't exist.
Yes, a gypsy who can see the future is a fun idea at the fair. Dawkins isn't talking about what's fun at the fair, he's talking about what's making the world around us a horribly intolerant place to live.
This issue is not about what's "Fun" or what's "Amusing". This issue is making people kill each other. If you think it's a fun little escape, to believe in the completely absurd, you're missing the point.

These atheists didn't do anything to try and make the caller look like an idiot. They didn't bait him with questions and try to get him to say that electricity in an outlet comes from lightning. Keep in mind that if a theist makes himself look stupid, that doesn't mean that it's the atheists fault.
It just so happens that the arguments which many theists use are completely idiotic, and it's only a matter of time before someone points that out. There are theists capable of defending their beliefs in an intelligent discussion, but the guy on the phone was definitely not one of them. As one of the hosts pointed out, there are many arguments which religious believers would do better to educate themselves on so that they're not made a fool of after bringing said argument up.
