I find it incredibly sad that his rationale for what he's promoting is that he wants us to feel like more than just "dirt". I am an atheist, an evolutionist, and I feel like more than just dirt, I feel like the amazing result of millions and millions of years of evolution. I think it's idiotic that he needs creationism to feel good about himself... I think it's idiotic that anyone does.

Ah, but if we take a little look into the history of the LDS church, we see that this sort of thing was perfectly acceptable to the mormons until the government deemed it not so. If laws against polygamy had not been passed, this sort of thing would still be happening in the LDS church today, and not just amongst the fundamentalists.
