Re: Monty Python Holy Grail: Killer Rabbit
No offense to Will Ferrell--he may not be considered a comedy genius, but he makes a lot of people laugh;

If Will Ferrell tried to do the killer rabbit sketch, he would not have the timing or any other aspects of the spot-on delivery to achieve the level of funny that Python does.

You might not think it's spot-on, but you'd be wrong.

Re: Dot Action 2
I think level 24 is too long.

358-117 to open up to 25.

That darn 24. Took me days, without dying, just to get to the first blue dot. And then there are how many more? Seriously, how many?

Sheesh.

Re: Sad Kermit: Hurt
The Downward Spiral, last song on the original album, I believe.

NIN is a lot better than people seem to think. I don't understand it.

Really, though--how are those lyrics anything but Nine Inch Nails? That's precisely the sort of suicidal-tendencies theme TDS had going for it.

The Atheist's Nightmare: Peanut Butter
When Christians give me a viable answer as to where God came from (supposedly life, out of... nothing? Older than forever?), I will pretend their other theories make more sense.

Even if God created Earth life, what created God? If God has always been, how can this be? Why is believing in Evolution any less viable than suggesting a living being created life as we know it?

The living being has to have come from somewhere, if we're to believe that life cannot be created out of non-life. Did life create God? If so, shouldn't we be worshiping whatever birthed God? To clarify, I don't mean The Virgin Mary.

Really, every single one of us is probably clueless, sans those we consider crazies. They might have a clue, but nobody would believe them.

Even if time is some kind of wonky Mobius Strip for The Big Guy, nobody can explain where he came from.

This is why I don't claim to know anything for sure. Makes me feel like less of an ass more often.

Re: George Takei's Message to Tim Hardaway
The people who won't find the irony are those who already dislike gays, who have their iron-clad ignorance and Sunday-morning "morals" to keep them company. Neither of which is the same gender as the user, of course.

Fortunately, there are fewer and fewer people afflicted with ignorance. Good thing--it's like a disease, and it needs to stop. Willful ignorance is unhealthy for everyone.

Re: Robot Chicken: Calvin and Hobbes Alive
Is it not narrow-minded to rule out the possibility that he was a "pre-Columbine" kid? He did seem to have aspirations to rule the world, after all.

That said, this is a spoof. We know what a spoof is, don't we?

Re: Sarah Silverman: The Porn Song
She really isn't funny.

She seems to think she is. But she isn't. She's just annoying.

Re: Pentagon Strike
Only the weak minded believe anything beyond a doubt.

If you're smart, you will doubt all theories and all items presented as fact, especially if you were not there to witness the event.

To make a generalization like "Only the weak minded", is not particularly strong minded, and I don't tend to listen to those that make such generalizations.

In fact, you don't have any responsibility to listen to me (see first sentence).

Re: Family Guy: Prostate Exam Confessions
I don't think of that as an issue, really. If it's on the internet and you want to watch it, go ahead. If you don't want to, then don't. Or do, and don't enjoy it.

I really don't think it matters that much. Some people enjoy seeing them here, including me.

Re: Bjork: TV Goes Directly Into You
I was under the impression that "tasteless" suggets hard pornography.

I suppose I'm just blinded by how awesome I think Bjork is. I admit it, she's freaking weird. But still.

I also like Akira, alternating between jazz and death metal, and trying to achieve the most "extreme" thoughts a person can achieve without actually taking those thoughts and putting them into practice.

If we were both single and she wasn't over 40, we might be an okay match.

Re: Bush's One-Fingered Victory Salute
It's exactly the opposite of what Bush claims to believe in, and should be noted. Our president claims to think highly of God, but acts like this suggest he is more reckless than any level-headed athiest.

Did Clinton ever say he didn't support blowjobs? Not that I've heard.

Re: The Atheist's Nightmare
Indeed, a banana will fit many places. This doesn't mean you should stick them every place they fit.

The fact they are edible and many people agree they taste good is a good argument that bananas are for eating, but considering how few fruits are shaped like bananas that aren't bananas, the only people I believe this argument would convince are those who already believe in God, and those who are uncommonly gullible.

Re: Triumph at the Michael Jackson Trial
So if he had gay child porn, why isn't he in trouble for it? That's way stupid.

Fould play indeed. The jury was probably a set of Michael enthusiasts.
