Re: Daily Show: Tony Blair Pt. 2
I realise that he is a Pom and all, but he come across as so utterly wooden in this interview that he is almost (not quite) as boring as the vapid, half-witted politicians that we have to endure down here in Australia.

Re: Scientology vs Chaser's Free Gullibility Test
Wow, it took them no time to send down 'an official...' They're really anxious about something.

Re: U.S. Economy and Financial System Bankrupt
It's okay, the world will always need Americans to produce hammed up hollywood style movies, porn and coca cola...wait; we can do that for ourselves now. Oh well.

Re: Pat Condell: A Secular World is a Sane World
Illiteracy pertains to an inability to derive an understanding or convey a rational thought through written prose or lack of a proper education - not grammar. Grammar enhances thw written word, it does not execute it or give it an import.
To that end, my point was clear and it was a simple mistake of mine made in haste - but it typifies just how parochial you can be - focusing on one infinitesimal point rather than looking at the larger scope of the arguement being made.
I don't care if you are an atheist or a Muslim or Christian etc. I don't care who tries to influence any political process - in the end we are all cudgeled by the same indifferent political processes that do what they want when they want whether you live in the USA or Iran. In the States you have the illusion of freedom whereas in Iran you have your hands cut off for an indiscretion. It's only a matter of degrees.
What I do care about is when someone goes out of their way to deride and lampoon the beliefs that another person holds dear.
You maintain that my belief in a deity is ludicrous, I hold the same to a theory that proposes that I evolved from an ape (throw your barb here).
I shall believe what I will in quiet contemplation, if you had any dignity you would as well. What you see as harmless japery I observe as a personal insult and an attack.
I would expect this from the likes of Pat Condell or Evil Mind, but honsetly Spam Vigilante you disappoint me here and it is you who needs to grow up child.

Re: Pat Condell: A Secular World is a Sane World
As far as I can tell it's you atheist's that are the most vocal and splenetic section of our modern thinking communities. Perhaps it is people like you who should learn how to shut the fuck up and let everyone else get on with their thing.

Re: George Carlin: Natural Disasters
This isn't funny, period. How can you make fun of the misfortune of others? Tired, pathetic old man.

There are better and far more inventive ones out there.

Re: Sliced Bread and Other Marketing Delights
I find it ironic that despite the pearls of wisdom spilling out of this marketing guru's mouth, BMW simply tacks on another ad on the end of this clip; which everyone will simply click off and ignore. Hilarious.

To offhandedly palm a person off simply because you disagree with them is wrong, and must not be confused with candor.
As human beings, we each have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, and in an open forum such as the one Mr Dawkins offered, he should address the query properly or decline a response.
Whether this right is conferred by a higher power, is the product of legislation and a prevailing sense of liberty or common civility, everyone has the right to be heard and regarded.
I must admit that I disagree with Mr Dawkins on many counts; however, what offends me is not what he says, but his sneering attitude and his unflinching arrogance.
Yes, many religions have themselves been the epitome of arrogance, but if you wish to give credence to your argument, do so with science and logic, not base denigration.
