I live in N.P.R Florida, which is a city of about 20,000. This clip takes place at Sims park, a place i bring my children to constantly. The park could hold 3000 spectators and she was speaking to about 200 people. Very few people here support her. Please don't associate N.P.R with ignorance, misinformation, and fear. This is a good town and she was here because her handlers know we'll choose wisely.

I hope he is mocking the people with 99 I.Q.s who think 100 channels or 100 brands of (insert product) mean something. If you think there aren't enough franchise restaurants - but are happy with just two political parties - you probably would be impressed by someone brand name shopping in walmart.
Whether or not it's a social commentary, it's funny.

I said "people like you" those who don't think of future generations. I'm looking forward to meeting my grandkids, while you think your brand of computer or car mean something. Even if you can't operate either.

I see your avatar three times and noticed your comments are the most comment worthy-I'm not picking on you. Also, like the movie says "no one is smart" i.e this is how we grow.
The first movie was alot different and worse then this one.
The audio does cut frequently-but not in mid sentence. There is no attempt to deceive with audio editting. His vague understanding of how the world works is vaguely accurate - since the world only vaguely works. What I'm saying is the humans on this rock are and have been on a slightly down cycle. As for the "small group of people" thing - It's natural as star dust for vultures to eat other animals babies, so he does need to get over that.
There is a plan, it's really a responsiblity. We are the only self aware masses of space dust ever known. Enviroment stimulates evolution. Change our enviroment ( in ways the last 1/3 of the movie says) and humanity evolves.
Every star that has ever burned has burned out, our wills too. Yet, not before the Earth is long gone already. We need to live in the empty space between the gravitational fields of the things in our galaxy or IT WILL BE AS THOUGH WE WERE NEVER HERE.
We're not gonna make it and it's all our fault.
