Unfortunately, she is possessed by an evil spirit that turns her into a hideous, ugly beast. A part of Daffy Duck's Quackbusters, a 1988 Looney Tunes film with a compilation of classic Warner Bros. Cartoons shorts and animated bridging sequences, starring Daffy Duck. It is the final Looney Tunes project in which Mel Blanc provided the voices of the characters. Bugs Bunny: Wabbit Twouble a Merrie Melodies cartoon starring Bugs Bunny, produced by Leon Schlesinger Productions released on December 20, 1941 by Warner Bros. Pictures. The title is the first of several Bugs Bunny cartoon titles that refer to Elmer Fudd's speech impediment. In the cartoon, Elmer expects to find rest and relaxation at Jellostone National Park, but he mistakenly sets camp in the neighborhood of Bugs' rabbit hole, and Bugs (and a neighboring bear) don't have much leisure in mind. It was the first Bugs Bunny cartoon directed by Robert Clampett, with a story by Dave Monahan and musical direction by Carl Stalling. Sid Sutherland is the only credited animator, although at least three more, including Rod Scribner and Robert McKimson, animated on the short as well. Bugs Bunny: Rabbit's Kin A little bunny named Shorty with a barely discernible warp-speed high pitched voice is running from Pete Puma, until he stumbles down Bugs Bunny's rabbit hole. The little guy tells Bugs his problem and Bugs agrees to help him out. Bugs then proceeds to play tricks on Pete. Rabbit's Kin is a Merrie Melodies short released on November 15, 1952. It was directed by Robert McKimson and written by Tedd Pierce. The animators who worked on this cartoon included Charles McKimson, Herman Cohen, Rod Scribner and Phil DeLara. The music was scored by Carl Stalling while the backgrounds and layouts were done by Robert Givens and Richard H. Thomas, respectively. It is one of the few Bugs Bunny/ Elmer Fudd pairings directed by Friz Freleng that was released after Hare Trigger, the debut of Yosemite Sam. The title of the cartoon is an obvious pun on the term "hairdo," another word for a hairstyle. Bowery Bugs Bugs Bunny is standing at the base of the famous Brooklyn Bridge, presumably somewhere near the Bowery of the title, telling an old man a story, in carnival-barker style, about how and why Steve Brodie jumped off the bridge. Bowery Bugs is a Bugs Bunny cartoon directed by Arthur Davis, written by Lloyd Scott and Bill Turner, and released in mid-1949 as part of the Merrie Melodies series. It stars Bugs Bunny (voiced by Mel Blanc) and Steve Brody (voiced here by Billy Bletcher), who was based on the real-life Brooklyn bookmaker Steve Brodie, who claimed to have jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge. Brodie had had a terrific run of luck, all bad. He decided he needs a good luck charm and heads for the country, as Bugs says, "To the forest primeval! To Flatbush!" -- to search for a rabbit's foot. But when the Colonel gets a phone call about Bugs Bunny's talents, he agrees to put him on stage with Bruno - which Bruno shows his disgust for by spitting into a corner. Big Top Bunny is a Warner Brothers Merrie Melodies theatrical cartoon short released in 1951 and directed by Robert McKimson and written by Tedd Pierce. When Bugs is introduced along with Bruno, Bruno can't help but smack Bugs around a little. Bruno tries to get the better of Bugs - either by placing an anvil on top of a series of targets so Bugs can hit his head, or by not catching Bugs during a trapeze act.
