In recent decades, more than 10,000 children were reportedly sexually abused by Catholic priests in the United States. In "Hand of God," filmmaker Joe Cultrera explores just one of those cases, that of his own brother Paul.

Sad, gripping, scandalous, engrossing and tearful... still, I could hardly sit through it. And yet, as I have heard a couple of US Congressmen state during their 2004 and 2006 bids for reelection, "Sunlight is the best disinfectant."
