Though I gave the clip a 5 (it was well done and he was quite talented), Bird was so rarely called for his pushing off. The Great White Hope had a lot of league assistance when it came to his success. A slow, plodding white guy in the NBA who could shoot the eyes out of the basket? No such thing since the 1950's and the league offices wanted to promote him as best as they could.

All the stars get those no calls. In all sports, the leagues are sure to take care of their stars. Don't sully the name of Bird.
