I have a problem witht he depression one and the black hole one.
Depression: 1 out of 5 by clinical standards. Yes there are people that have serious depression but it is not one out of five. Lots of the clinical psychologists just want to put you on Psychoactive drugs. Seriously, one of those people at my school literaly said "I'm just here tyo put these fucking kids of fucking steriods so their parents can deal with them!" Psychoactive drugs will never permanantly solve anything. Even if we all were seriously derpressed, and those drugs were the only thing keeping us alive, then we fail as a species. What we need to do is find a way to not naturaly be depressed.
Black holes. Just as scary as he said so. But he left out that while some do travel, rouge black holes, these things have so much mass that the travel INSANELY SLOW. I'm talking just fast enough to be noticed. If we found one we would have at least a 2000 year forwarning before we felt the effects.
Also the main problem with finding a new planet is not finding it, but getting there. We don't have a clue how to travel faster than light, Einsteins laws says that it is impossible. Which leads us to portal technology, which we should try more.
