How offensive can you make it? As a half-Indian person myself, I think Apu's accent is actually pretty damn accurate >.> Though it's not really clear from it what part of India he would be from. (I know he's supposedly from somewhere in the north since he speaks Hindi.)

And FYI, George Takei is gay. Very, very gay.
