Why do People Laugh at Creationists? Ep. 6
In this episode it is shown why Kent Hovind (the convicted frauster and young earth creationist who is currently serving 10 years in jail for tax fraud) deserves the title "King of Morons" for his crass lack of knowledge of x-rays.

Hovind is an easy target, because it isn't much of a challenge to disprove his statements. I am wondering what proving Hovind wrong accomplishes? I think of how Galileo faced pressure from the Church for backing Copernicus' theory that the Earth revolves around the Sun. Now that was a challenge, because his livelihood was threatened, and the majority of the public believed the Earth revolved around the sun, Ptolemaic Theory. In this example nothing novel is being proved.

*self-correction, Ptolemaic Theory was popular in Ancient Greece, where it was thought that all the bodies revolved around the Earth.

Hovind speaks to groups of people. People who dont need to be any dumber than they already are.
