Boo. More God means more religious fervor which means more people will think there is a divine right to decry the naysayers.
Chuck also has it wrong. This country was founded on the basis of religious freedom, not religios ideals. How many Muslims and Jews would enjoy being forced to study the New Testament as a part of the public school curriculum?

Actually, Christianity was frowned upon in America until the early 1800's because it was the religion of Britain. The founding fathers were diests, and anyway, I times change. Though they were believers in God they were believers in slavery and opposed to women's rights. Religion has advanced, but to say that is was founded on the religious priniciples of one single religion is an invalid argument, especially when the Constitution guarantees the right to worship freely without being told what to worship. These people have it backwards, been brain washed I suppose.

Oh, Chuck...so disappointing - not because he's a believer but because he wants to enforce his personal faith on everyone. That's totally Unamerican.
Plus his historical facts are totally wrong.
"The Government of the United States is not in any sense founded upon the Christian Religion."
1797 Treaty of Tripoli
signed by President Washington,
approved by the Senate of the United States
