This Week: the Divided Electorate
On This Week with George Stephanopoulos the round table discusses the divided electorate this election cycle. Cokie Robert actually says that we have more democracy than we did before Bush was elected. They also do not talk about how the GOP and Bush have done nothing but work to divide the country, or the reasons that the voters are so disgusted with the Democratic Party in Congress right now which is their failure to check George Bush with the occupation of Iraq, abuses of power, and the trashing of our Constitution.

Cokie Roberts was actually commenting that the nation leans a little more towards the Democratic Party since Bush was elected president. Not an increased level of democracy.

... which BTW, I agree that the country is pretty much divided fairly evenly down the middle.
