Liberal mainstream media? I'm thinking that no one presidential administration has controlled the press with as much vigor or effectiveness better than this one.

Meantime, they threaten lack of future access to those reporters who don't play nice and yet press passes are issued to clowns like Jeff Gannon/Guckert/hotmilitarystud.com to toss softball questions at WH press conferences. Brilliant, if not transparent.

B.S.

What 'blackout'? (I seem to recal, however, plenty of coverage of Iraq war protests, including non-stop coverage of Cindy Sheehan when she 1st camped out)

If you don't see coverage of protests every night on the nightly news, its because

1) It has become tripe and boring. We get it. Nobody is interested anymore - it doesnt pull ratings.

2)The left-leaning media is afraid to show the actual protests, because they have become perverted spectacles of 9/11 conspiracy theorists, anarchists, Marxist socialists preaching "revolution" and Islamist sympathizers calling for the destruction of Israel.

If the media ever showed what actually happens at "anti-war" protests nowadays, the majority of sane people would associate anti-war with whackjob lunatics - which would in turn distance the viewing public from the media's agenda. I know, I've been to plenty.

Most interesting how you rant and rave yet ignored the Guckert issue. Every right-minded inDUHvidual I bump into seems to have done that since day one. Of course, FoxNoise never covered that, so WTF would you know about it.

The lack of anti-war protest coverage is directly proportional to the threats from the WH Press Secretary. If you believe otherwise, I pleasantly suggest that you go back to stuffing your head in the sand and be happy there.
