If you look closely, I think you can see that the cubes are mirror images of each other, except that the orange and red faces were switched. He's not so much solving two at a time as he is solving the same one twice with one hand each.

Youre right, he's solving one rubiks cube and mirroring that hand with the other hand. Little bit misleading.
