Somewhere there must be a developed civilization trying to reach us? What? Our "developed civilization" hasn't existed for the blink of an eye in astronomical time.

Yeah, I kind of question that as well. Perhaps a developed civilization burned out 10,000 years before Marconi. Then what?

I don't know who originally said it, but my dad was fond of saying it, "The surest sign that there is intelligent life out in the stars, is that they've not contacted us." Or something like that.

Why limit yourself to a civilization that is 1 million years more advanced than us? Why go forward? How do we know that they haven't evolved into pure energy? Maybe they are already here. Maybe they are everywhere all the time.

i guess it's time we come clean. i'm an alien. i've been on earth for a couple of years. there's thousands of us, all over the world. we mastered that whole worm-hole thing billions of years ago. we're onto banana-holes now. powerful stuff.
oh, and those ufo sightings can be explained by most alien teens taking mom and dad's spaceship for a joyride. and sometimes mom and dad take it out themselves...mostly just to taunt you. it's pretty fun.
