An instant classic. Bill O’Reilly has vowed revenge against all the “far-left kooks” who have been so insolent as to hold his own words up for scrutiny, thankfully stopping just short of murder. As a public service, Keith Olbermann offers this handy guide to dealing with those pesky producer-stalkers that Loofah Boy has sicced on others before.

Re: Olbermann: Defend Against Bill O'Reilly
Bill O'Reilly just lets people with opposing views on his show so that he can yell and rant and cut their mics. Personally, I would not give extremists a mic to preach their hate nation wide. At least Olbermann hosts those who have been slandered by the propagandists and lets them tell their stories. O'Reilly is one of the ones who makes up that kind of propaganda. George Orwell once said that telling the truth is a revolutionary act. Maybe it is time that someone in the media told the truth. Do not let the same talking heads on over and over again. They ruin our thinking capacity. ;-)

Re: Olbermann: Defend Against Bill O'Reilly
George Orwell also said that all revolutions are just the 2nd class replacing the upper class by lying to the lower class.

To me Olberman and O'really both symbolize our bipolar nation. O'rly is a catholic moralist that targets the upperclass and the rural lower, and olbermann is a Bourgies (sorry for spelling) protestant intellectual targeting the middle class and the urban lower

People aren't thinking for themselves. Don't think that Olbermann is any different than O'rly.

Re: Olbermann: Defend Against Bill O'Reilly
Olberman > O'Ranting. And I agree with the guy above. O'Reily on lets people on so he can tell them how stupid they are and say why he is right. I'd rather not see that, it's hellah childish to me.

Alright i'll admit that Olbermann has a 1up over Orly, simply because he acknowledges Orly's exisitance whereas Orly doesn't, which is childish. But think about it, how would Olbermann react to a conservative on his show?

Re: Olbermann: Defend Against Bill O'Reilly
It's not that i support any of them. Personaly, both of them check their brains at the door when they get on. They're just figure heads for the political parties, that spread propaganda and tell you what's right and wrong.

Yes Bill does badger those who oppose him, and you will notice that he will only do it if either:

A) he feels that they are inconvinceable.

B)He can't beat their argument.

What I'm trying to say is that both of them won't stand dissent of their veiws, and you shouldn't listen to either of them.

Re: Olbermann: Defend Against Bill O'Reilly
Freedom of speech is a most wonderful thing...many other countries have no such thing.

It's up to us to listen to what we want, or not, and to sort through & evaluate from there.

As for my personal opinion, I think Billo is an overblown gasbag...no one should take him seriously, he just loves the attention.

Keith Olbermann...heck he's allowed to have some fun too, considering he's one of the few in the media who actually question how the U.S. is run & offers up his honest thoughts.

Free speech is wonderful, but when radio stations can't even play war protest songs, well you just don't have it anymore.Sounds more like something that communist China is doing to me.

At least Kieth Olbermann admits that he is unpatriotic. Thats more than you can say for Bill O'Reilly.

Watch this clip where Keith Olbermann applies the standard, "indefensibly unamerican" to himself:

"They established their patriotic credentials long ago, and are either supportive of the Bush agenda or know when to keep their traps shut." -Bill O'Reilly's patriotism. ;-)

I must admit, though, Keith's tounge did slip. I would not compare any journalist to Al Qeada... Okay, maybe the one who told the terrorists to go after Coit Tower in San Francisco. Who was that, again?

Think about this: How would, O'rly and Olbermann's roles change if there was a extremly democratic president?
