Bose, making the streets unsafe for kids again by circumventing speedbumps. The technology is impressive, the idea behind it is not.

The idea of vehicles handling well in high speed turns or sharp unexpected corners is not a good one? I think you're pointing blame in the wrong direction. Suspension systems don't speed, drive recklessly, and run over children; stupid people do.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather slow down for kids on the road than swerve perfectly around them.

I imagine it could. What kind of prep time the car needs in between jumps like that, and exactly how easy it is to execute would be my question. While driving the car it would be tough to see how close your tire was without lots of practice jumping things. Imagine the new chase scenes in movies.

Im sure it would be huge in the world of 4 wheeling and off roading doing crazy things with jeeps and such.
Maybe even help prevent the SUV type rollovers by compensating and keeping the body balanced.

haha this is rather interesting. and with respect to the " omg its making the roads most dangerous " argument...its like guns. guns dont kill people, people with guns kill people.
why cant people accept a little responsibility for their actions is beyond me, but if you teach a kid how to drive properly, he will. most of the time.
