Re: Daily Show: Matt Groening
Yeah he is. Nice guy too. He spoke at Cal-tech about three years ago and I asked him for an autograph. He said he doesn't sign autographs but he just talks to people. He talk with about 12 of us for an hour and a half about everything under the sun. He's a real down-to-earth guy.
He's been drawing a comic called Life in Hell for almost thirty years. It's really great stuff. You can see some of them here: http://hell.capefeare.com/

Re: Daily Show: Matt Groening
Matt was funny, but I don't think he took Jon's point about Bart's age. He wasn't saying the characters don't age, he was saying that Homer would've had to be in high school at age 27 or 28 to end up with a ten-year-old at age 38. But as Matt says, it's a cartoon. Besides, maybe Homer flunked math class for a decade or so.
