If you ever get a chance to see it, the rest of the Evening With Kevin Smith DVD set (where this is from) is just as good.

I'm pretty sure it says Cornell on the wall behind him. You can only catch it on the rare distance shots, and it's kind of hard to make out at this resolution.
He does these at college campuses over all over the country though. He doesn't really give speeches so much as do very long Q and A sessions. Though his answers can sometimes take up to an hour (and they're hilarious).
