Re: Aria
A good summary of the opera, in case you (like me) have no idea what exactly is going on.

Re: Aria
First: if you're using Quicktime on a PC, switch to Videolan:
http://www.videolan.org/
Apple player has serious issues when playing H.264 encoded movies.
Second: Blip usually transcodes to Flash, but something went wrong and the request has not been fulfilled.

Another thing: the direct link is supposed to be temporary.
The permanent link to the movie is:

Re: Aria
I was also not familiar with the story, so I checked it out on Wikipedia.
I think this treatment is kind of funny, actually, and doesn't quite do the tragedy justice. It's well done, for sure, and conveyed the story well, but a few things... B's breasts flopping, (especially coupled with) the Ken doll's lack of a penis (hey, be consistent), the fish breaking her water, seemed out of place to me.
I hadn't realized how many references to the story are contained in Weezer's "Pinkerton" album.
