Aries is surprisingly one of the better things to come out of Mad TV, but Hammond seems like he is stretching to hit the mark of his Jesse. I'll give him Trump and Cheney, but most all the rest of his impersonations just fall apart halfway through, devolving into the same choppy one-note impression. He's no Phil Hartman, anyways.

aggreed, sorta. i think he started out really stong and as he went on he kinda just like drifted but overall it was pretty good

Honestly, who IS up to the level of genius that was Phil Hartman? I think that being second to that man is no shame at all.

Agreed, no one is up to that level. But calling Darrel Hammond second to Phil is giving him far too much credit.
It's not so much name brand soda vs store brand soda, as it is name brand soda vs soda made in the same bathtub they used to make crystal meth, and then sold out the back of a truck with fake labels like 'Pipsi' and 'Mountang Dew'.
