I paid to see this film when I was a kid!! HA HA HA! That's fantastic.
They do a space walk and all kit up in heavy cloth suits but the bikini girk was the only crew member in a transparent suit and her bikini on underneath. I really apprecitaed that detail when I was a kid.
The ship that closes like a clutching hand was the ultimate weapon they talk about in the trailer. It tries to crush ships as they fly through, venus flytrap style. A marvel of futuristic engineering. I always wondered what life was like in the condos on the tips of the fingers. Wooooah!!!! we're clutching at something again! :)
