I felt ripped off by this. It's the exact animation used at the Europe Music Awards. They just flipped the singer's image and put him on the opposite side of the stage. I personally dont like Madonna's song or her image right now, so I can do without that altogether.
Also, the audio on this clip is in sync for the first few seconds, then is way off.

OK, new video link is more in snyc with audio. But the Gorilaz animation is still recycled and Madonna still sux, but thats just my opinion.

this was cool. the uropian version is pretty sweet to, what with the feel good inc. factory windows in the background. i liked the american version too with the interaction between murdoc and madonna, that was pretty neat. this makes me regret not Tivo'ing this...
is it just me or were the rappers not as effective as i thought they should be? also, 2D's mouth didn't move a while lot, as opposed in the music video where it's very active. still, very cool. should be headline :)

I don't know what yall MF's are talking about but this ess is smooth as hellll. I seriously don't like Madonna but that track is hardcore and the fact that they mixed her vs. Gorillaz feel good is a undeniable landmark in performance and music culture in general.

I Perferred the Euro MTV awards show than that crap.. With Madonna it is like watching a Elementary Teacher get Sl*tty, eww. Gorillaz need a bit of freshiness in their show. Tho I find the whole Virtua-band cool.

why are u guys comparing this to the EMA preformance, its completely the same. it's just done better cuz they had time to modify it, only new is the interaction with madonna.
my point is that yu cant tell me there is a significant diffrence between this and the EMA's.

Although the Gorillaz performance was a repeat from another awards show, I must say I like the Gorillaz portion a lot more than Madonna. At this point, instead of re-inventing her image and singing career, she's at a point where she needs to just shut up and sit on the sidelines for a while longer.
At least Gorillaz (in the original performance) did something a bit appealing and creative, in contrast to Madonna's recycling of Abba with flashy lights, dancers, and of course slutting it up with one of the dancers. *yawn!*
But that's just me I suppose.

It upsets me that Madonna doesn't get the respect she deserves. She is constantly reinventing herself and everyone is crying about her stealing time away from the Gorillaz. Come on. I love the Gorillaz but they should have just felt honored to share the same stage with an ICON!!! You're just jealous! :)

To all who diss: I'd like to see you do better.
Im not much of a Madonna fan either, but you have to give her credit for what she has done in her career.
And I love the Gorillaz animation! This is the first time I have seen it, and at first I had a hard time figuring out if it was animation or just *really* good costumes (before you comment on that, I have seen costumes that looked unbelievably real).

Obviously there are some people out there that like Madonna or she wouldn't be making the money she does and all the hit songs. I don't always care for her videos but her shows are generally really good. What's sad is people put her voice down and all but she sounds better than pop princesses now.
