P&T investigate PETA 60 Minutes style.
The slant taken is not one against animals but instead about extreme measures taken in the fight.

Re: Penn & Teller: PETA
I'm not going to judge the two organizations too harshly based upon this clip because like much sensationalistic journalism, only one side it being touted. Still, we ought to consider the content a bit before jumping on the bandwagon.
As Penn Gillette put it, I think we're all for the humane treatment of animals. However, extremism may be doing the cause harm in the process.

Re: Penn & Teller: PETA
I'm a lacto-ovo vegetarian (nothing eaten that can have babies), but I think PETA is completely wrong. You catch more flies w/honey than w/vinegar: if they really wanted to promote the cause of animals, they wouldn't be sensationalizing it. Sure, they get their message out there, but it's one that's promulgated by a bunch of wild-eyed nutjobs.
And I have no problem w/meat-eaters: it's those half-starved vegans that we need to worry about...LOL!

Re: Penn & Teller: PETA
I was largely a veg for 14 years. Though, I did eat seafood and lacto-ovo as well. Just no meat or poultry. My beef (so to speak) was with the commercially raised livestock and the ethical and environmental damage that these corporate farms cause.
