Bolton's appalling comments were already known on this end, however it doesn't surprise me that the guy who appointed him was the same guy who gave the medal of freedom to Tenet when there were obvious lapses in intelligence.
There is just no accountability in this administration. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone gets a free pass on it. Scooter Libbey, Don Rumsfeld, Condi Rice, Paul Wolfowitz all make egregious errors and get promoted or get to keep their jobs when it's fairly clear that some sort of corrective measure should have been taken.
