An index to subjects and items mentioned in all of the Calvin and Hobbes books.
I can understand why someone would want to have this (in fact, I discovered this because I really needed to find the one where Hobbes says 'What's the point of being cool if you can't wear a sombrero?'), but I can't understand why anyone would go to the trouble of creating one.

Re: Calvin and Hobbes topic index
That's true. It's always been one of my favorite comic strips. Now that my six-year-old considers the Calvin and Hobbes books his favorite bedtime reading, we've bought (and read, over and over again) almost all the books. It's brilliant stuff, even though, in the last few years of the strip, words like 'ontology' start appearing regularly in Calvin's speech.

Why? Because sometimes you just need to know when the topic of pancakes comes up. Or when the tooth fairy is mentioned. That's why.
