I tried selling my soul to Sable & Shuck. But apparently they weren't interested in people who worked in the advertising field. Apparently, for some odd reason (can't imagine why), it has a negative impact on the value of your eternal soul.

Interesting, indeed. There's just so much interrelated info on these websites, I don't know what to take as significant or not. I don't know if certain hints refer to how to crack the cellphone's pin # or if the hint is for the locked room at the top of the staircase...

so it seems these people have really gone out of their way to make this game seem almost realistic, huh? I'm just starting and having a hard time putting some things together.. But I can't seem to get any feedback from anyone. :( Can you help?

when on the first floor, flip the light switch: new: you get a code to the safe.
The safe is behind the bookcase (as mentioned on the noteblock) try clicking the books that open in a certain order (4 clicks).
The safe opens but i can't find what to do with the content (i thought fideleo as username, the email adress on the card as mail and the password the result 14bbb...something), but it doesn't work.

Yeah... again... as far as a game goes, this thing goes waaaay beyond this little part. Theres interaction to, with the characters, via email, phonecalls and the like. It is considered highly unlikely that you will figure out where he is even if you did play this peice of the game... Its been played for a few months now, on a myriad of webpages...

Hmmm... yeah this is a tough one. So much information and I don't know what to use and what's in code. Well one thing I do know is that at Sable & Shuck the login is 14bbb942 (it's a b not a 6 that took a while to figure out!) and then the password for the reciept is fidelio (case-sensitive)... but after that I'm pretty lost!

the pasword for the receipt? what is the receipt... all i seemed to find that could be possible hints would be the fidelio on the bathroom mirrorl... 5045(which is the key to the safe) 14bbb942, the cd name... and also the writing on the wall.. but what does the apple and the botttle opener have to do with anything in the game you cant even click on them... its bugging me I want to beat it but I am so stuck

Go to the Sable & Shuck website (http://www.sableshuck.com/theContract.php). There is a field where you can login... type 14bbb942 there... then it asks for the passwords for the receipt etc... sorry wasn't too clear.

So, I went to the Sable and Shuck website. Got my receipt but what is the password to view the ENTIRE contract?

But I did goto Inferno Cargo. The company that delivered the soul. If you enter Jon Harker and the contract number from S&S you can view the delivery info.

er , typing for 10 minutes,and it all got deleted. damn it

i'll make it short this time.

i already found jon harker 2 times, since the first time was just another part of the game.
only the 2nd time is real, although that the first time is real too but its not the end, you see for yourself.

i dont want to be a spoiler , so i'll let you solve the cases for your selfs. if you need any help , i wouldnt mind share with you. ( im speaking to everyone ofcourse )

you'll tend to get stuck ALOT along the way.
i guess that the best tip i can give you about this game is, first, the main investigation.
to those who love the challange, dont tempt to read any wiki guides, although they arent 100% solved, ( i put some answers there but not them all ) its shattering the fun.

every website,every comment ,a soccer game score,a date of a comment and even a series of them, can tell you something.

if anyone wants some help, without spoiling too much, i wouldnt mind. just email me or comment here.

have fun guys, its truly a great challange to us all.

I'm stuck and i have no idea what to do next. I have got the password for sable and shuck, got the receipt. But i don't know where to find the safe password or how to get to the safe, or how to open the door upstairs. i havent found out the pin number to the phone yet, and im completely lost. lol. any help?

Well...I'm playing... And I'm determined, but I'm a little far behind. If anyone needs to open the case, all I know is click on the ones that are slightly tilted... But that only opens 3 books supposedly. I need the actualy safe.
