Wellums, methinks tossing a beer on the players wasn't a good enough reason to climb into the crowd, but it is indeed a reason.
Players like this need to have criminal charges brought up on them. There's got to be some kind of deterrent to prevent this kind of action. Then again, the NBA seems to me like a bunch of car jackers in shorts these days.

BasketBrawl.us has agreed to NOT serve popup ads when traffic comes from MilkandCookies.com. They also discovered a malicious explit of thier ad server. It's also been resolved. More on this issue here (they used the same ad people as The Register):

I hate this... When I was in school, my dad always had season tickets for The Pistons, so I pretty much grew up in that arena and the whole thing was sad to me. Worse is the fact that Detroit, which is a great place that I miss everyday, has a bad enough reputation, and now because of a few assholes, the reputation gets worse. I hope to God some of those fans see a jail cell sometime soon.

And that's what I was ranting about up above. The athelets will probably get a fine that amounts to a slap on the wrist for someone who makes as much money as they do, and then the fan who started it will spend time in jail/on probation.

Do not go to the website link to see this fight. A TROJAN VIRUS IS ATTACHED TO the page that is hosting this fight. My anti-virus software discovered the virus and informed me. So i wanted to share this information with you all before your computer is infected.

Since MilkandCookies.com links to other sites outside our control, we can not guarantee those sites will be spam, virus or popup free. But as soon as we find out a site we link to has issues, we stop link ing them -- hopefull in favor of another site hosting similar content without issues like these.
We do our best, and IMHO, we do a pretty good job all things considered. ;)

In my opinion, suspension is not enough to punish those players involved in this. I think they should be canned and barred from the league. What would happen to you or I if we acted like that at our workplace? We would be out of a job and would likely be facing civil, if not criminal charges. I think it is an utter disgrace to the sport of basketball. Maybe it's time for the fans to boycott the sport to send a message to the players that thier childish behavior will not be tolerated anymore.

Because the ads are targeted, most people will never actually see an advertisement.
I believe it's a fair ask for you to spend 10 seconds of your time for the amount of content thats on the site.
The site is currently consuming 80Mbit of bandwidth and I’ve just had to commission more.

In my opinion the whole thing wouldn't have started if it wasn't for Ben Wallace... and the number of games he was suspended wasn't even close to Ron Artest, Jermaine O Neal, and Jackson... when a player get's all hyped up, it hypes up the fans... same thing when a player gets pissed and resorts to violence then fans are gonna think its ok too and they get pissed with the team they are fans of...
I don't blame Artest for going into the stands... and i DO believe it was for self defense... if he didn't do anything about it no one else was going to. there were no security ppl around b/c if there was the brawl wouldnt have gotten that heated, it woulda been stopped quickly.
