Update The Viridian Room is released now!! and I got out thanx to your comments!!

Great news for all the people who like adventure games, Crimson room part 2 - The Viridian Room will be released April 28th...It's the sequel to the first Crimson Room, the Room that kept many minds puzzled for hours

I will create a walkthrough for the Viridian Room as soon as the game is out...or if it is a really though one, I'll start by giving some hints/clues

UPDATE I've just found a Full Screen Version of the Viridian Room through Linkdump.be

Put the light on...

Click to the right...there's is a fridge...open it...click on the shelf...below the meat is a 'small ecard'...you can leave the beercan in the fridge for the moment (the beer needs be cold in the end!!)...



Next to the fridge is a 'trash can'..there's a white sheet with black hair in it....



Click on the new found 'white sheet' in the menubox on the right...(for some reason this is necessary to find the lighter)

Go back and click the trashcan again...it will go up and you'll find a lighter



Go to the left by clicking and click on the green shoes in the red cabinet...the will go up and you'll find another e-card



Now click a little lower (bottom of the cabinet) and you'll find a Photo frame



(click on the frame to get it)

Go to the left by clicking and click on the brown thingies on the ground in the corner...they will go up and you'll find another ecard



In the middle is a red carpet...Click on the red carpet...it will move and reveal a skeleton..zoom in by clicking...the skeleton holds a blue medicine can in the middle...



Click on the left hand of the skeleton...it holds a key



Click on the red blanket and you'll get it...

Now go up and go to the grey cabinet...open the cabinetdoors and you'll see a yellow book...




Click on the book and you'll find 2 photo's



Go up one shelf to the red diary...use the key you've just found at the skeleton to open the diary...keep clicking the next page till you are at the last page...you'll find a cd (click on the cd to get it)


Zoom out by clicking...click on the topdrawer of the grey cabinet...the view will zoom in...next click a little to the right and you'll find a bundle of incense sticks...



Now do the same on the left side and you'll find another ecard....



Now go back and turn around by clicking...on top of the wall is another ecard (it's on the wall right of the fridge, not the fridge wall)




Now turn around again, make sure you're standing in front of the door to the previous Crimson room (the one with the keyhole)...take a look at the wall....there's another ecard



Now click on the lamp (you're still standing in front off the door which leads to the previous Crimson room-the one with the keyhole)...there's a small ecard on the lamp itself....



At this point you should have collected all items



Now click on the cdcase in the menubox



Next click on de cd and put it in the cd case (just click on the cd and then click on the cdcase...it should go in...

Now click on the white sheet with hair...click on the lighter to burn the hair....keep on clicking and some 'dices' will appear at the sheet (the numbers on the dice change each game).





This is the code to use the ecards (explanation follows below)

Now click on the red blanket in the menubox, then click on the ligher, then click on the blanket to tear it apart, you'll find a green paper



Click on the green papet to get it...

Now click on the green paper in the menubox...it lookes like this...



Now you've to put the ecards in the right place...if you click on the medicine bottle in the menubox, first you'll find some pills, keep on clicking and you'll see a sheet pop up with some Chinese characters on it




The sheet is in the same 'form' as the 'hair' one



...the numbers on the 'dices' are corresponding with the characters on the sheet in the medicine bottle...

Now put the character(ecard in the menubox) which corresponds with the character on the white sheet on the it's place on the green sheet...(apparently the number on the green card are random)...do this for all six of the ecards, first put the right character (ecard) on number 1, then the second on number 2, etc... till number 6. When you complete the dice in another way it won't work, though the look of the dice is the same.(thx Koen) If you have completed that, you'll get an 'soul' box

You can also put one of the photo's in the photoframe, but I don't think this is necessary to complete the game...

Now you're done in the menubox...

Go back to the skeleton and click on its feet



A number lock comes up



Change the number to 0425 (in my case, but I've read in the comments that 0427 and 0428 are also possible, anyway you'll notice it when you got the right code, cause the skeleton gets 'unlocked')

Update: apparently the code changes each time and Matt send me an email with (probably) the explanation...

I think it's 4 days before the day you play it. That is why

it goes up each day. So 0428 is April 28, but it will skip from 0431 to 0501/an other explanation send to me: it's aya bithday(it's in the diary)

Go back to the fridge and grab your well deserved can of cold beer...

Now go the grey cabinet and put the cdcase, the bundle of sticks, and the beer can in it...click on the lighter, next click on the bundle off sticks on one will start burning...now click on the red thing next to the golden bell....a soul will be released...



If it doesn't work:

- ...(make sure the beer is cold!!otherwise it won't work...you can check if it's cold enough by clicking on 'about item' of the beercan in the menubox)

- remove the photo frame if is says, there may be some unnecessary items....

And you'll escape from the Viridian Room

I found this site after searcing for Viridian Room, thats why im anonymous.

Does anyone know where the Viridian Room will be released so that you can play it? Im searching for it now but cant seem to find it!

all right then.. i got the incense, the lighter, the beer.. etc.. why can't i get out? what's missing??

This one is pretty hard...

I got the photoalbum, you can insert one of the pictures in there...but which one?? With the lighter you can light the hair, after that use the lighter on the white sheet...some dices appear on the sheet...I think is has something to do with the sheet in the medicine bottle...all the items can be placed in the cabinet, but I don't know the use yet..
