No offense, jaxon, this is a great video and all, but you could sync Pink Floyd to just about any video and it would probably work out great.

Not sure who did the text for this, but there has probably never been a 500 km asteroid that hit the earth, nevermind six times. Life has existed for >3.5 billion years on the planet, which is about 5 billion years old. Any asteroid of this size would have ensured that the planet would be sterile today.
The video is pretty awesome though.
