The Responsibilities of American Citizenship 1955
Another classic starring "noted young historian" Professor Clifton L. Ganus ("America's Distribution of Wealth", "A Look at Capitalism", etc.)! This is yet another anti-commie, pro-God-and-Country "educational" film in the style of his others. But this time he's brought along some great visual aids.
When he describes how communism could bring our system crashing down, he knocks over a bunch of blocks. When he describes how socialism is casting a shadow over the globe, he holds his hand over a globe, and casts a shadow over it. Brilliant!
And without a trace of irony, he gravely instructs us that to fight the communists, we must "understand propaganda techniques"...good old Prof. Ganus, teaching by example.
