Perhaps not July, perhaps never. But it would not surprise me in the slightest to see these morons cement their legacy on their way out.

And I ask again, why July? That's near impossible for them to launch an assault against Iran. Unless ... Unless they somehow manage to provoke 'Iran' into attacking an American or other allied target.
That, too, might get McCain elected. If that happens, a lot of really bad things will happen. Among others, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will get banned by the US Government.
Right now, McCain doesn't stand a chance.
By the way, my birthday falls in July. If I have some apple pie left, and you're right, I'll send it to you by mail. You can do any number of things with it, among others (yes, that too) throwing it at the White House, putting a bomb in it and mailing it to the White House, or it'll last long enough for you to get across the border.
That, too, might get McCain elected. If that happens, a lot of really bad things will happen. Among others, The Daily Show and The Colbert Report will get banned by the US Government.

I say July because that's when the corporations want to attack Iran. It gives enough time to build some "victories" (see: Mission Accomplished) to engulf the Obama campaign and head into the October election leading McCain by the hand into the White House.
So over the last month, the administration and their media propaganda arm have recently tried to revive controversy on Iran. You can see all the links on M&C... They're trying to see if they can get public support for it. (Um, hardly...)
So that said, I agree with you that the logistics may not be possible in that limited timeframe and because there's no real public support.
And as an side, I think there will be less outlawing of things like Daily Show or Colbert because I don't believe the corporations have to be that extreme.
They're doing far enough to dismantle US industry and elections to relegate the American people so jobless, homeless, and powerless that we don't matter anymore. So they won't care if we get a couple o' yucks on basic cable.

Talking about the Pie Board ... it seems to have left the site. I can't find it anywhere.
Anyway, commenting on the Pie Board is very easy. You did so yourself some weeks ago, I believe. Just remember to type :slice: to get that pie symbol. Spam was kind enough to explain that to me.
Hah, this strikes me as funny. Here I am sitting in my bedroom, Mahler's 8th doing its thing, and writing these comments about impending world wars one moment and pie the next. And tomorrow I've this important presentation to give and haven't done enough preparations as yet.

I really have lost faith in our Government to effectively rule itself. Presidents have too much power, and Congress is too weak, and the Justice Department, is too busy with BS to care. It went to shit after Bush, Sr left office (not that I supported him) and Clinton just made it easier for Bush, Jr to become the big dick on the block (per George Carlin).

Concerning Iran Nuclear weapons:
The NIE report states that Iran 'Ceased' its nuclear weapons program. This means that they did have one before 2003.
On Uranium enrichment; Making U-235 (what Iran IS doing now) is, by far, the hardest part in making a nuclear bomb. After one has U-235, all they need is some proper expolsives and you have a nuke. I don't believe that Iran is still trying to construct a nuke, more to get all the components so that it can build one quickly it feels that war is inevitable.
