I don't think it's an offside... Offside involves passing the ball beyond the opposing team's last line of defense.

No, I'm pretty sure offsides is when the offense positions a player beyond the defense and the ball. In other words, you can't just keep a forward always sitting on the goal line ... and it does look to me like this would be considerd offsides, unless the ball was considered in fair contention by that forward.

Offsides is when there's a passing motion to the player beyond the defense & ball - but since there is no pass involved, this goal is fully legit.
There have been a couple of goals just like this one over the years.
