United Church of Christ Banned Commercial
A commercial banned from most of the networks.
From the United Church of Christ.

Re: United Church of Christ Banned Commercial
I imagine the banning part has something to do with the gay couple in the middle, not the overall premise of the commercial.
Which kinda bothers me. I mean, at least they're pretty up-front about everyone being welcome. Don't like it, don't go there.
Other than that I found the whole spot rather amusing.

When was this banned? I remember seeing it on TV a couple of years back.

Wow I didn't know they had commercials for religions. Do they have those too for Islam and Scientology?

Scientology doesn't need adverts they have Tom Cruise.

Re: United Church of Christ Banned Commercial
Maybe I'm a bit biased, but I am technically still a member of a UCC church (though, quite honestly, I'm more agnostic than Christian). UCC has a reputation of being extremely liberal minded. I remember reading about a certain commercial they ran (in fact, it might have been this one) that welcomed homosexuals to the church. From what the article said, UCC caught a lot of flak from the rest of the Christian community for that.
Regardless of what you believe or don't believe, I think this message is the best one possible.
