Play Video Games with Your Eyes
The video shows eye gaze interaction with World of Warcraft using our "Snap Clutch" software; developed at De Montfort University, UK in collaboration with University of Tampere, Finland.

The software allows us to change quickly between interaction modes to allow for a more real-time gaming experience.

While this seems like a great way for me to increase my own personal laziness, it also has a very practical application to people with physical disabilities.

Re: Play Video Games with Your Eyes
Gotta be a fake --- Why is there a mouse-click sound in the background every time something happens in the game (opening Quest log, talking to NPC, etc)??? Hmmm....

Re: Play Video Games with Your Eyes
good catch. however i think i have a reasonable hypothesis to explain that, and perhaps we could figure this out by following the links above...

My GUESS is that at this point of development the eye tracking only positions the cursor and doesn't have a way to actually click, so perhaps he has either another person clicking for him once he positions the cursor, or he has some type of foot pedal to activate that function.

I think mainly this demonstration is meant to demonstrate the tracking capabilities, which to me seems completely feasible.
