Possibly the earliest known performance clip of Bill. He had just graduated from high school a few months earlier. Although the material is tamer than he later became known for, the confident stage presence is already evident.

It's the quality of the film and camera it was recorded with.
If you watch closely, his head seems to fade-in in front of the bright letters. The strength of the letters is burned into the camera lens and it takes a while for the film to catch up and lower the brightness of the area.
Good eye. I wouldn't have notices unless you pointed it out.

I think I like this short clip better than his later stuff. There's more joy in it.
