Terry Jones: Penguins Take Flight
Camera crews discovered a colony of Adélie penguins while filming on King George Island, some 750 miles south of the Falkland Islands.
The programme is being presented by ex-Monty Python star Terry Jones, who said: "We'd been watching the penguins and filming them for days, without a hint of what was to come.
"But then the weather took a turn for the worse. It was quite amazing. Rather than getting together in a huddle to protect themselves from the cold, they did something quite unexpected, that no other penguins can do."

Hmm. BC is pretty much an industry standard. But hey, not a big deal to me. Thanks for the tip, I'll try to keep in mind.
Oh, and thanks for the mirror as well. I have my reservations about links on DM. Their popups and other heavyhanded ads scare me. I dunno why, I mean, I'm in the biz of providing that kind of annoying interstitial stuff. Buy hey, it feeds my pet bedbug.

Soon, penguins will really wish they could fly; they're gonna need it - unless they want to watch the last ice melt under their feet. I can just picture that: thousands of them huddling on a dwindling ice floe. It might be the opening scene of Gore's An Inconvenient Truth II.
