Haha... awesome. Maybe not very professional of her, but I would say that that's worth it. The details of one person's life shouldn't be important to people just because he or she's famous. And famous for no good reason at that.

Should she be fined or what have you for her actions, I bet the support behind her would be incredible.

On a side note, maybe the other two were just trying to make light of the situation, but frankly, they came off as total assholes.

seriously this stuff is retarded. news shows/channels, in the name of ratings, have decided to only do things to attract people who dont like watching the news.

What the hell does Paris Hilton have to do with anything at all?!?!?! My cat pukes up more interesting subject matter than Paris Hilton's "problems." The only thing I'd like to see with PH is a reality series that puts her in a position such as mine--a full-time college student working as a janitor at night without mummy and daddy's checkbook for support. She wouldn't last a day.

Bravo! Now THAT was an editorial of the highest caliber. Every anchor in the nation should take this as an example on how to treat "stories" like OJ Simpson, Joey Buttafucco, the guy from Baretta, Monica Lewinski, Michael Jackson, Bennifer, Brangelina... goddam, the list can go on and on.

My point being, there's always bread and circus to bury important stories concerning the functioning of the US government, and STILL they call it the "liberal media". It's very gratifying to see an anchor take a stand.
